The Mechanists have just begun their rise to power and the Hammerites are still in control. Garrett's home city has, for the time, become a peaceful and uneventful place. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Briefing: Ever since the... incident with Constantine... I've been having some sleepless nights. The kind of nights where images from the past linger in a cold sweat. Even so, I'm thankful to be alive. It all reached a climax not long ago when I awoke to find a figure leaning over me, with his sword drawn. Luckily I keep my sword by my side that night, and managed to get a quick stab in before he ran off. Realizing what had happened, I noticed that he stole the Eye I took from Constantine. I quickly gathered my supplies and followed the trail of blood he left. In his haste he dropped a scroll. It looks like he's working for a man named Monroe. I remember hearing about this Monroe owning a developing town called Mossy Glade, not far from the main city. No doubt he's very wealthy, so this could end up putting me on easy street. I have reason to believe he's a friend of Constantine's, how convenient. My plans are to hunt him down and put an end to this ordeal once and for all. Besides, I'm still a little pissed about the loss of "my eye", and as they say; "Revenge is sweet." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BUGS: I have removed the first room, which kicked many people out before they could continue the game, so that problem should be gone. The game tends to freeze for no apparent reason. It happens to some people and not others. I'm not quite sure why yet.
