The trail of blood leads away from where I saw the ransom note. I need to find this guy so that he can proclaim his true love to Jenifer. The slums are a pretty horid place even by my standards so I need to watch my step. There are a lot of unfriendlies there, and some that would love to gut me at first sight. The slums aren't known for wealth, but it still may prove to be lucrative. As long as I'm there I might as well get my hands on whatever I can. At the far end of the slums is the Hammer Compound. The Hammers are not known for kidnapping civilians, and since the compound was abandoned long ago, it may be possible that John is being held there. This compound is no ordinary Hammerite facility, so I really don't know what I'm getting myself into.
