Several of the most important nobles of The City have been invited, so it will be a perfect opportunity for me to get some quick cash. Anyway, it was not going to be as easy, the hammerites and nobles have hired elite guards to help keep everything under control. It was supposed to be a normal task, get in, rob some nobles, and get out, but it didn't turn to be what I expected. ============================================================= * Play Information * Game : Thief 2: The Metal Age File names : miss20.mis, miss20.gam Difficulty Settings : No Equipment store : No. Map/Automap : No/No. New graphics : Yes. New sounds : Yes. New models : Yes. EAX Support : No Multi language support : No. Briefing : No. Difficulty level info : Normal, Hard, Expert Note: Although I didn't add difficulty settings, I strived to make this mission hard to play. The only difference between difficulties is the health you have. ============================================================= * Construction * Base : Mostly scratch. Build Time : N/A Version 2 changes: Fixed bug which caused the mission to be unwinable. Added more powerups and enemies. Added a couple more readables. One of the archers used to fall off his guarding tower while on patrol. This has been fixed. Minor texturing and misallignment corrections. Removed a conversation that would fail to trigger. Changed the objective Find your sword and equipment so that it's now optional. Made a little change to the final objective. Fixed some AI getting stuck with furniture and terrain. Fixed invisible walls in the ghost city. Resized hole in the catacombs. Changed so that there are no more 'one-way only' passages. Fixed one of the conversations playing a noise that would alert guards and start looking for you when it was not supposed to be that way. ============================================================= * Loading Information * Runs from Dark Loader. Leave the file ZIPPED - DO NOT UNZIP this file, put the whole .zip file into whatever folder/directory you want to on your hard drive, then in Darkloader setup, point to this folder/directory, and the mission should show up in the Darkloader main screen. ============================================================= Known Bugs: The framerate stutters in some parts of the level. Due to some strange problem with dromed, I got all lights in the catacombs section duplicated. As they don't affect gameplay or framerate I decided to leave them there. If you try to douse these torches, light will go out, but you will still see the flame burning. During a conversation a guard that was supposed to lay on the floor will occasionally play his motion in mid-air.
